Mark Howard
Senior Consultant
Mark has specialized in Medicare and health insurance planning for decades. For you, that background translates into guidance grounded in real-world experience. Mark genuinely enjoys the process of assisting his clients in every aspect of Medicare planning, as well as the ongoing service. Now with three of his four children working within the agency, the team is better equipped than ever to provide the best service for our clients for years to come while continuing to earn your business every single year.
Mark earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University School of Business and an MBA degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1995. Mark has been continuously licensed in life and health insurance since 1986.
Outside the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and loves his role as “Poppy” to his grandkids, relaxing on his front porch, and listening to music.
Matt Howard
Consultant
Matt graduated from Indiana University School of Business in 2015 and has since developed years of experience as a health and life insurance agent. A counselor and educator at heart, he takes the time to listen, pinpoint your specific needs, and clearly explain your options, earning your trust by delivering the right plan at the right time. In his free time you can find him with his wife, Kelly, and daughter, Caroline, playing guitar, cooking, or cheering on the Hoosiers.
Brian Howard
Consultant
Brian graduated from Indiana University School of Business in 2019 and joined the family business under his father’s mentorship. A passion for offering unbiased counseling across a wide range of top carriers led Brian to become an independent agent. Brian earns his client’s trust by ensuring their coverage always aligns with their evolving needs.
Outside of work, you can find him spending time with his wife, Macy, and two boys, Louis and Henry, as well as hiking, visiting theme parks, playing trivia, or hitting the golf course.
Rachel Howard
Client/Operations Coordinator
At heart, Rachel is driven by a genuine love for helping and educating others. After graduating from Indiana University in 2017 with a degree in education, she dedicated nearly ten years to her career as an educator. Now transitioning into the family business, Rachel is thrilled to leverage her strong communication and operational talents to streamline operations and ensure a seamless, supportive experience for clients from day one.
Outside of the office, Rachel loves to spend time with family, friends, and her dog, Bagel, as well as reading, crafting, traveling, and attending concerts.

I had initially planned to meet with a SHIP Counsler to sign up for a Medicare supplement programs, but they were a no-show to the appointment that had been scheduled for several months. I then contacted an independent Medicare Supplement representative that was recommended to me by a family member but that person took several days to call me back. My third try was the charm when I reached out to Mark Howard. He answered my call and promptly scheduled an appointment with me. I had an excellent experience choosing my Medicare supplement programs thanks to Mark!

Matt Howard is great! Because of a law change in the state of Indiana on being able to change Medicare supplemental plans 30 days before or 30 days after one's birthdate without underwriting, Matt has saved us hundreds of dollars on monthly premiums/over $1600 per year! I was in tears trying to figure out the SS/Medicare benefits after I retired unexpectedly. I got Mark Howard's name from a friend, so I called him. He asked me some questions about my doctors/hospitals/prescriptions, then he went on a search. We touched base later that day and he had everything figured out for me. All my doctors are in network. All my medications are covered (although others I had spoken with couldn't find any of them!) Mark was not concerned with selling me an insurance policy, like most. This was the first year of Medicare for my husband and we thought we knew what to choose. But, it is so complicated. Matt walked us through the process and we found we would not have made the best choices for his circumstances. Matt asked questions and explained the choices so we could make the best choice. And, he’s just a nice, pleasant and easy going guy to talk to.He also helped me with my market place health care choices. After doing the research and finding the best choice, I found that cobra was going to be my best choice. Even though that does nothing for Matt’s business, he helped me determine that was the best choice for me. I will be going back to visit Matt in November to review my choices for the following year.I will recommend him to anyone I know starting Medicare or needing other healthcare.

Recommend Matt Howard if you're looking for private health insurance coverage options. I moved to a new state and tried to navigate the ACA exchange in my new location but ran into road blocks, confounding search results, and confusion. Discovering Matt was a godsend; he first listened to what I needed, then made recommendations for a few options. The option he zeroed in on worked for the needs I had, particularly the prescriptions I take, and saved money. He helped me navigate the sign-up process. While I still had time to make changes, I called him with follow-up questions and he helped me do the math to settle on the option I chose. Aware of deadlines, he is quick and thorough, listens, and follows up.

My wife and I recently met with Mark Howard for an annual evaluation of our Medicare coverage for 2026. We began our affiliation with him in the Spring of 2023 when we relocated to central Indiana from Southwestern Michigan. In anticipation of our move, we conducted an online search and selected Mark on the basis of the many positive reviews he had received. We also arranged for an online meeting with him prior to making our final selection. In those discussions we found Mark to be very well informed and professional, and have been very satisfied with the level of service he has provided over the years. He has always been very responsive and accessible, if we needed additional clarification of our coverage. During our most recent meeting, Mark provided an in depth analysis of the various Medicare options, their costs and benefits, while at the same time addressing the specific needs of our health care coverage.
