How Does a Medicare Agent Get Paid?
We emphasize that our services are absolutely free to our clients, which often brings up the question ”How Does a Medicare Agent Get Paid?”
That’s a very important question because knowing how someone gets paid can show if they may be biased and recommending a plan to you because it is good for THEM but not necessarily for YOU.
As a licensed Medicare Insurance Agency, our job is to educate our clients on how Medicare works, and then assist them in finding the right plan for their specific situation. When we make a recommendation to you and you allow us to enroll you in that plan, the insurance company then pays us a small commission for all of our work. Its important to note that you don’t have to pay anything additional to work with us, so you’re getting all of our expertise at no cost to you whatsoever. What a great deal!

Recommend Matt Howard if you're looking for private health insurance coverage options. I moved to a new state and tried to navigate the ACA exchange in my new location but ran into road blocks, confounding search results, and confusion. Discovering Matt was a godsend; he first listened to what I needed, then made recommendations for a few options. The option he zeroed in on worked for the needs I had, particularly the prescriptions I take, and saved money. He helped me navigate the sign-up process. My wife and I recently met with Mark Howard for an annual evaluation of our Medicare coverage for 2026. We began our affiliation with him in the Spring of 2023 when we relocated to central Indiana from Southwestern Michigan. In anticipation of our move, we conducted an online search and selected Mark on the basis of the many positive reviews he had received.
